Apple expands iPhone 14 series production in India with fast performance

During the last period, Apple began to transfer part of the production of the iPhone 14 series to India's industrial facilities, and today the latest reports confirm that Apple is expanding its production in India with rapid performance.

Previous reports indicated Apple's plans to transfer 25% of iPhone production to India by 2025, as Apple began in September producing iPhone 14 phones through Foxconn in India.

A report from Bloomberg revealed that the Taiwanese company Pegatron is also expanding the production of iPhone 14 phones at the company's facility in the Indian market.

On the other hand, Apple initially planned to produce iPhone phones in India after a year or more of the formal release of the models, while Foxconn began producing iPhone 14 phones in conjunction with the official announcement of this series and before the launch of the iPhone 14 Plus phone to the market.

Also, about a month later, Apple began assembling iPhone 14 phones in Pegatron in India, so Apple is moving to accelerate the production of iPhone phones in India to reduce the company's dependence on China's industrial facilities.

It is noteworthy that Apple’s decision to transfer the company’s production to other markets came as a result of repeated closures in China to prevent the spread of the COVID virus, which eventually led to disruption of production operations and delays in shipments of new Apple devices, so Apple began a new strategy to diversify the company’s supply chains.
